Dr. Muttukrisna Sathanandan
FRCS , FRCOG, MPHIL FFFP, FSLCOG.
Apart from practicing General Obstetrics and Gynecology for the past 50 years, Dr. Sathanandan has served as a sub specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology (Since 1986 with MPHIL London) treating all hormonal problems from childhood, Reproductive Life and Menopause. He is also a fully trained and certified fertility specialist practicing IVF ICSI Pre-implantation genetic screening, including freezing of eggs, sperms and embryos.
In Sri Lanka, at present, there are available donor eggs, sperms and embryos, sec selection and surrogacy. All of which are permitted legally. He is the pioneer in the above mentioned fertility treatments in Sri Lanka. He is trained in USA, UK and Australia by two Noble Laureates including Professor Robert Edwards, who discovered IVF in Cambridge.

He actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings. At Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures.
